Girls Basketball Roundup: Palisades extends winning streak to five; still undefeated in league

Palisades extended their winning streak to five games with a 66-27 road victory over Hamilton in Western League action.

Bianca King led the Dolphins with 24 points and eight rebounds to setup a show down against two undefeated teams in the conference when they travel to Westchester on Monday.

Kylie Bethel had 16 points and freshman Hydeia Duronslet added 10 points along with six steals for Palisades (7-14, 3-0).

In the Ocean League…

Beverly Hills 57, Morningside 27

Jazz Anderson scored 15 points and the Normans had 11 steals as they remain undefeated in league play.

Beverly Hills (12-6, 2-0) led 34-8 at halftime.

In the non-league action…

Crossroads 51, Brentwood 50

Kennedy Martin had 21 points and nine rebounds but the Eagles fourth quarter rally fell short at “The Extravaganza” as they drop below the .500 mark.

Sammy Schlessel was the only other player for Brentwood (9-10) to finish in double-figure with 12 points.
