Boys Basketball: Santa Monica’s Nuwriyl Williams will take an unofficial visit to UCLA on Friday

Continuing his college tour before the fall semester starts next week, Santa Monica guard Nuwriyl Williams will take an unofficial visit to UCLA on Friday.

While the Bruins have not offered a scholarship to the 6’2 junior, plenty of other Division I schools have shown interest after a strong showing at club tournaments this summer.

Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Rhode Island, Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount are among his current college offers and Williams went on an unofficial visit to San Diego State last week.

Santa Monica won the CIF-Southern Section Division I-A title last season and lost in the state finals to Pleasant Grove.
